Aloha Values are Great Values
Rosa Say is a wonderful Coach and Writer from Hawaii. Her blog, Managing with Aloha, is written for Managers and Executives but often has wisdom that applies to all of us. She’s written a wonderful post, My Aloha Virtue List, which is filled with a host of virtues she’s striving for during the month of December. Her virtue of vitality is particularly relevant to me during this time of holidays, cold and short days, and rushing about. Rosa writes:
“There is a fire that burns within us during the holidays. Give in and let it burn up any stress, replacing it with enthusiastic and eager energy. Zip. Zeal. Zest. All vitally and dynamically virtuous.”
With many young adults bogged down in Decemeber by final exams and papers, college and grad school applications, I wonder: Where’s your vitality coming from these days? Are you able to transform stress into vital, positive energy?
